Brasa Northeast will be closed until Tuesday, June 9th due to a confirmed case of COVID-19 amongst our staff.
We have learned that an individual who works at our Brasa Northeast location has tested positive for COVID-19 and have decided to remain closed until June 9th to allow staff to self quarantine and seek testing if needed based on MDH and CDC guidelines. We do not have any other employees experiencing symptoms at this time. We are not aware of any risk to our guests as a result of this positive test.
We will be using professional disinfectant techniques as well as reevaluating our COVID response measures in order to plan for a safe reopening for our employees and guests alike.
We will also continue to closely monitor the ever-developing CDC guidelines and work with the MDH to continue to ensure the safety of our staff members and operation. Below is an update on preventative actions we are taking with staff to keep everyone safe:
-Use of gloves & masks. Mandatory fifteen minute hand washing and cleaning/sanitizing of door knobs, phones & touch screens utilizing checklists.
-Regular reminders for team members to be hyper-vigilant about following health regulations that prevent the spread of any illness.
-Requiring all team members to utilize sick leave if experiencing any symptoms of illness, not only COVID-19.
-Requiring all team members to self-report if they or anyone in their household have COVID-19 symptoms.
For 13 years our mission at Brasa has been to support the health and well being of our guests and staff. We are more committed than ever. Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the most up-to-date information regarding our restaurants and plans.
