08 MAY 2015
Don’t worry folks, we aren’t taking away any of our signature dishes. On Monday, May 11th we rolled out a new version of our menu that added a “plates” category for both dine in and take out meals.
Essentially, our plates category allows customers to build an individual meal by choosing one protein, one side (from a select group),that is paired with our house coleslaw and sauces. Plates are offered in two sizes. The “regular” size plate is portioned for one average sized meal and the “large” plate is portioned for a big appetite, sharing or even planned leftovers. In keeping with our longtime tradition, all of our signature meats and sides will continue to be available à la carte and served in varying portions to accommodate all dining preferences. Our à la carte meats have moved to a separate menu board that is tied to market prices.
As a restaurant that is equally committed to value and quality, recent price increases and market volatility for premium, 100% natural meats has provided us with some unique challenges in running a sustainable business over the past few years. Our definition of sustainability is one that defines our success through measuring four bottom lines: Excellent Food, Exceptional Hospitality, Healthy Finance and Thriving People. We feel strongly that the combination of a new plates category and à la carte meat pricing will give us the best position to continue to provide you with the winning combination of flavor, quality and value we have come to be known for in the Twin Cities.
